Jan 20th 2018 – Indian dinner @ Creperie

The food is prepared from scratch with mostly local & organic – fresh ingredients & homemade spice blends!

Chicken Vindaloo: Local chicken cubes and potatoes simmered in an aromatic tangy – spicy sauce comprising roasted shallots, garlic, ginger, tamarind spiced with (cayenne pepper, fenugreek, cloves, green peppercorns)

Daal – Yam Soup : Organic daal simmered with yam in a sauce comprising – tomatoes, peanuts, ginger and tamarind

Alu-Matar: organic yukon potatoes, carrots and peas in a onion-tomato based sauce seasoned in a blend of spices (Tumeric & Garam masala )

Cholle-Palak: Organic garbanzo beans cooked with Spinach and flavored with Onion, ginger, garlic and other spices

Pulao : Basmati Rice with peas & sliver almonds flavored with cumin, tumeric, cilantro and a hint of lemon

Naan : Organic white flour bread (is used to scoop up the meat/veggies)

Raita : Homemade Yoghurt blended with grated green apples and Garam masala (can be added to meat/veggie dish to make it milder)

Spicy Chutney: A spicy blend of apple, hot peppers, sugar and salt (to be added to the meat/veggie dish to make it more spicy)

 Drink – Chai Tea: Freshly made hot, creamy, fragrant with black tea, fresh cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and sugar

 Dessert – Gulab Jamun ~ Doughnut like balls soaked in sugar syrup flavored with cardamon and saffron
