March 17th 2018 Indian dinner & Music

X Team – Our Robotics team,  will play some music on the Clarinet after serving dinner….

The dinner is prepared with mostly, organic, fresh ingredients & spice blends!

Chicken Xacuti aromatic flavor, local chicken cubes and potatoes marinated in a blend of (mustard seeds, paprika, fenugreek and vinegar) simmered in a sauce comprising roasted shallots, garlic, ginger & Tamarind

Mulligatawny Soup: Assort veggies, rice and beans cooked together with spices

Kadee-pakode: Organic spinach and onion fritters in a yoghurt based sauce cooked with garbanzo bean flour, ginger and other spices

Daal Makhani : Black Urad daal slowly cooked and seasoned with ginger, garlic, tomato and Garam Masala

Pulao : Basmati Rice with organic peas, & cashew flavored with cumin and garam masala

Naan : Montana white flour bread (is used to scoop up the meat/veggies)

Raita : Organic Yoghurt blended with grated cucumber, spiced with Garam masala (can be added to meat/veggie dish to make it milder)

Spicy green tomato Chutney: A spicy blend of green tomatoes, cilantro, serrano peppers and tamarind (to be added to the meat/veggie dish to make it more spicy)

Drink – Chai Tea: Freshly made hot, creamy, fragrant with black tea, fresh cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and sugar

Dessert – Sweet Potato Halwa ~ Sweet potato cooked in milk flavored with cardamom, saffron and garnished with slivered almonds
