Aug 20th – Indian Dinner at the Creperie

The dinner is prepared with mostly local, organic, fresh ingredients & spice blends!

Daal & Roasted Caulifower Soup : Organic Masoor Daal ( Pink Lentils)  & roasted Cauliflower seasoned with garlic, ginger, tomatoes & Garam Masala

 Chicken Xacuti: Local – Chicken simmered in a blend of grated coconut, poppy seeds, tamarind, onion & garlic

Alu-  Palak: Organic  Spinach with toasted red Potatoes seasoned & roasted in blend of Spices( Tumeric, Coriander, Cumin, Garam Masala )

Turai:  Roasted Zucchini ( Farmer’s Market)   in a blend of yoghurt and coconut sauce and blend of Spices( Tumeric, Coriander, Cumin, Garam Masala )

Pulao : Rice with fresh local veggies from the farmer’s market and spices

 Naan : Organic white flour bread (is used to scoop up the meat/veggies)

 Raita : Homemade Yoghurt blended with grated Cucumber and Garam masala ( can be added to meat/veggie dish to make it milder)

 Hot Chutney: A spicy blend of garlic, ginger, black pepper, Cumin (to be added to the meat/veggie dish to make it more spicy)

 Drink – Chai Tea: Freshly made hot, creamy, fragrant with black tea, fresh cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and sugar

Dessert – Gulab Jamoon “Indian Donut Holes” soaked in sugar syrup flavored with cardamom and rose water
