March 19th Indian dinner at the Creperie

Freshly made, from scratch with almost all organic ingredients and homemade spice blends

Goan Chicken curry: Chicken (local & natural) simmered in a blend of Tamarind & coconut blended with poppy, carom seeds and other spices

Lemon Rice : Basmati Rice with cashews & scented with Tumeric & Cardamom

Rajma: Organic Kidney beans simmered in a sauce of (onion, garlic, ginger, tomatoes) & garam masala with a touch of Kasuri Methi(dry fenugreek leaves)

Matar-Alu: Peas & Organic boiled potatoes flavored with turmeric, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper and amchur (mango powder)

Kadee- Pakore: homemade vegetable dumplings ( cabbage, spinach & onion, garbanzo bean flour) dunked in a golden yellow yoghurt based sauce flavored with tumeric and other spices

Naan on the griddle: Leavened flat bread (dough of organic white flour & yoghurt) cooked on the griddle

Drink – Chai Tea
Freshly made hot, creamy, fragrant with black tea, fresh cardamom, almonds, ginger and enough sugar to bring out the spice flavor.

Goan Coconut Cake: Semolina roasted and baked with coconut and chocolate chips( touch of Ish) with a dollop of gelato (made by Jeff)

Black Hot sauce : Ginger & Garlic chutney helps increase spice levels

Raita: Yoghurt with cucumber.. also helps lower spice level

Cilantro-Coconut Chutney: creamy and mildly spicy
