Nov 21st Indian dinner for a Cause “Xteam Robotics” at the Creperie

This Menu is inspired by “Guest – Favorites”, Peppers & Odisha ( state in India)
Freshly made, from scratch with all organic vegetables from the farmer’s market & organic spices
It is all Gluten free as well….

Butter Chicken Masala : Chicken(local & natural) cooked in a blend of creamy tomato sauce with cardamom, chilly peppers and coriander with a touch of dried fenugreek leaves…. ….[An all time favorite]………

Kashmiri Pulao :  Basmati Rice garnished in cashews, almonds & Pomegranate,  seasoned with cardamom, cinnamon and fennel … …..[It was a hit at the last dinner]….

Vegetable Korma : All Organic  Cauliflower,  Paneer (homemade cheese)  &  carrots and potatoes  simmered in a creamy tomato (all fresh from farmer’s market)… based stock with spices………. [An all time favorite]….

Sambar vada: Organic Crispy white lentil fritters dunked in an organic daal soup –  seasoned with spices, tomatoes and other veggies…… [It was a hit at one of the dinners]……….

Stuffed peppers : Organic Bell peppers (from a friend’s garden),  stuffed with soft Yukon gold potatoes  – boiled, mashed & blended in turmeric, cumin, cayenne pepper, coriander and amchur ( mango powder)……. [something new]……..

Naan on the griddle: Leavened flat bread ( dough of organic white flour & yoghurt) cooked on the griddle  ……….. [it was a hit at the last dinner]…….  – Gluten free option available, just let me know ahead of time……..

 Red Hot sauce can be used to increase spice levels and a Yoghurt sauce to reduce spice levels

Drink – Chai Tea
Freshly made hot, creamy, fragrant with black tea, fresh cardamom, almonds, ginger and enough sugar to bring out the spice flavor.

Dessert – Chena Poda from Odisha
It is made of well-kneaded homemade fresh cheese chhena, sugar and maybe raisins, and is baked for several hours until it browns.

The meal will be served Buffet style
